One of his sons remained in Yorkshire and became manager of the Huddersfield Bank in Dewsbury.The other four emigrated to Tasmania and Melbourne.Their adventures as pioneers,their travels across the world,and the different ways in which they left their mark.Benjamin moved to US.Joshua went to Tonga and became the first british consul there.William eventually disappeared in Mexico.David remained in Tasmania.Cocker Descendants are scattered all over the Pacific,Tonga,Samoa,Fiji,Australia,NZ,UK and the US.The Cockers of Tonga are all descendants of Joshua and Elizabeth. |
